As part of this project, I will explore sustainable agriculture and water management in Punjab, India, combining traditional knowledge with modern design to address challenges such as groundwater depletion, soil degradation, and the impact of intensive agriculture. By designing a regional water collection system at the state level and in the Bist Doab region, and creating a detailed design in the Hoshiarpur district that can be adapted to different locations with similar geomorphological characteristics, the project will focus on sustainable water systems, food security, and updating agricultural practices. In addition, it aims to integrate ecological habitats into water systems and create spaces for social gathering.
