LACF Offers three National Scholarships for Students of Landscape Architecture across Canada
LACF welcomes applications or nominations recognizing underrepresented groups, including women, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, people of colour, people who identify as LGBTQ, and people with disabilities.
1. Frederick Gage Todd National Scholarship
The FGT scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, skill and commitment directed to the advancement of Canadian landscapes through the practice of landscape architecture.
2. Peter Jacobs Indigenous Scholarship and the BC2 Indigenous Scholarship
The Peter Jacobs Indigenous Scholarship is awarded to an Indigenous landscape architecture student who exemplifies the principles of leadership, creativity and empowerment of Indigenous people and their landscapes through research, design, and/or engagement.
We welcome Canadian Indigenous students with an interest in landscape architecture enrolled in their last year of an undergraduate programs in disciplines related to landscape architecture (such as architecture, planning, geography, environmental sciences, horticulture, fine art, natural sciences, etc.) to apply for this $4000 award.
3. Walter H. Kehm National Scholarship
The Walter H. Kehm National Scholarship will be awarded yearly to a student studying landscape architecture in Canada who exemplifies the principles of leadership, creativity and has a strong interest in ecology or natural systems.
