2015 CSLA CAMPAIGN OF FELLOWS

RESULTS ARE IN from the 2015 Campaign of Fellows and they are more than encouraging.  Donations amounting to almost $50,000 were received between October and December 31st. during the annual Campaign of Fellows in support of LACF.  Landscape architects across the country and their friends accepted the challenge to “pay it forward” by giving generously. Notably, more than half the proceeds of the 2015 successful fundraising campaign were directed towards scholarship initiatives. The creation of new endowment funds for scholaraships at the University of Montreal and the University of British Columbia generated considerable interest.

“The CSLA College of Fellows (COF) and LACF share a common vision of the universal enjoyment of rich sustainable landscapes” says COF Chair Wendy Graham. “This years response to our Annual COF Campaign illustrates once again that CSLA Fellows are leading by example.  It also recognizes the significant contribution made by the broader CSLA membership and friends who stepped up in an unprecedented fashion to support LACF scholarship activities through their donations”.

“This terrific and very generous response to the COF Campaign of Fellows resounds in support of scholarship and confirms the aim of LACF to become a leading supporter of students of landscape architecture in Canada” says LACF president Vincent Asselin.  “On behalf of the LACF Board, I would like to thank the College of Fellows for their continued support and commitment ”.

LACF and the CSLA College of Fellows join forces in thanking all donors for supporting the advancement and promotion of the ideals of the profession of Landscape Architecture.
