CECILIA PAINE RECEIVES OALA PRESTIGIOUS PINNACLE AWARD

LACF past-president Cecila Paine was honoured at the recent OALA congress with the OALA Pinnacle Award. LACF congratulates Cecelia on receiving this award that recognizes her many contributions to the field of Landscape Architecture and her enduring commitment to the higher ideals of the profession. Amongst her many notable LACF achievements, Cecilia was chair of the Task Force charged with establishing the framework for a rejuvenated Foundation in 1987 and since 1988, she has served on the board in a variety of different capacities including secretary, Grants Committee Chair and President for close to 10 years. Cecelia continues on the board today as the LACF Nominations Committee chair. Bravo Cecelia!
